Sterling Silver Pendant
Sterling Silver Chain
This petite beauty is called the Atlantic Oyster Drill. It is a petite treasure, and has gorgeous texture. These beauties often go unnoticed at first, lost amidst the tiny treasures that collect at the tide line- but are easy to spot once you know they're there. Spiral Shell measures 1.7cm in length, and 0.9cm in width. It's weight is perfect for shorter chain lengths, and it also lends itself well to bespoke necklaces.
This listing specifically is for the pendant and chain shown in the first photograph, though subsequent photos show the same pendant in custom necklaces that I have created for other clients, featuring 4mm gemstone beads.
Every unique shell in this collection has been found on a beach in Nova Scotia (unless otherwise noted), and saved because of its beautiful shape and unique surface texture. The process of molding each stone allows every mark to be preserved exactly as Mother Nature has created it... tangible reminders for those of us needing grounding and centering.
These lovely pieces are not plated or "dipped" in any way, but rather are cast in solid sterling silver through the lost wax casting process- a method that is especially close to my heart and has allowed the exploration of numerous organic materials over the years.
Please do select your prefered chain length from the menu available when checking out.
